The title of this session was chosen precisely, nothing more is to be added to describe the purpose of this gathering. As present stakeholders, Africa CDC / African Union coordinated the whole effort. AVMI (African Vaccine Manufacturing Initiative) act as the voice of African manufacturers. BMZ (Germany) and European Commission (DG INTPA) bring funding and intercontinental partnership, the World Health Organization (WHO) ensures vaccines to meet global standards. And the DCVMN (Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturers Network) contributes global industry know-how.
